Google Calendar data and permissions
Leadrivo uses a business owner's Google Calendar connection to offer available appointment times and create appointments that a website visitor explicitly confirms.
What we access
- A list of calendars you can write to, so you can choose an appointment calendar.
- Busy start and end times on that selected calendar. Visitors are shown bookable times, not the titles or descriptions of your existing events.
- Permission to create appointment events and retrieve Leadrivo-created events to verify booking results.
What is saved and shared
Google authorization credentials are encrypted and stored privately on the server. They are not included in the website widget or visitor-facing responses. Appointment records include the selected service, time, timezone, and the visitor's supplied name and contact details. The business can see these records in its workspace.
When a visitor confirms a booking, Leadrivo sends those appointment details to Google Calendar and asks Google to email the visitor a calendar invitation. The business may also receive a Leadrivo confirmation alert. Calendar access is used for these scheduling functions; calendar data is not sold or used for advertising.
Disconnecting and deleting data
The business owner can disconnect Google Calendar in the dashboard's Calendar & booking section, or remove Leadrivo's access in their Google Account permissions. Disconnecting disables new automatic bookings and removes the saved Google credential from Leadrivo. Existing calendar events and appointment records are not automatically deleted. Manage event changes in Google Calendar and contact support to request deletion of saved Leadrivo records.
Google API policy
Leadrivo's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
